Infantry Clarification

Hey, so here's what the text of "Infantry Attack" strategy is:

Infantry damage multiplied by 2.5
Other units’ damage reduced depending on the amount of damage dealt to Infantry

Does this mean the attack power is multiplied by 2.5 or the defense power?

My understanding is that the defense of the infantry increased by 2.5 so they can soak up damage before your other troops come into play.

I think “damages” mean injury to the infantry unit. “Attack” means increase in amount dealt. It was defined in the glossary of the guide.

So I think that strategy means you lose more infantry (take more damage) to spare the loss of other units (lessen damage taken).
