Maybe TheKeeper could use a squire. I'm pretty good tho.
I think right now the biggest hurdle is #1 finding legit bugs (a lot of times it's just user error that eats up dev time testing nothingburgers), and #2 finding time to dev. It's a passion project, so it doesn't have anything near dedicated developer hours, so things get hit as time permits.
You can see on the changelog there's actually pretty good progress being made every day, inching us closer and closer to a fully stable and balanced version. I think by the time we hit the 1 month mark of the beta we'll prolly be ready to start a real round. Maybe I'm just being hopeful lol
A funny story about dev time getting squandered. I setup 2 test kingdoms for battle sims, and 6 or 7 wise guys thought they'd test their armies on the test kingdoms while I was in the middle of running sims. I guess they learned their lesson when I took the castles back they had won and sent them each a 100k-wizard powered fireball lol. I let them keep the land tho cuz fairs fair haha! But still, it was a good 20 minutes of lost time resetting the tests and dolling out lessons 🔥
Just a funny story. There we're far more time sinks that not funny 😩
