I had this thought and I'm not sure if I like it or not so I want to hear all of your guys' opinions.
What if we could research multiple techs from different trees at once
Tech trees would still lock the techs that follow, but once you get the gold, you can start on any tree you'd like.
This seems to be something that wouldn't affect early game, but helps kingdoms in late game. Since we all want to eventually max out our techs, this would just speed the process along. I'm not seeing where an unfair advantage is but would love to hear if there are any or if there are potential downsides.
