CLI tech confirmation?

I think with CLI as a tech and my understanding of how it works… just don’t get CLI and then those conditions don’t apply to hits on you or by you. It does enable CLI kingdoms to have their own party hiding in protection.

It does create a scenario where CLI kingdoms can conspire together. Make an attack and take a castle off a non CLI kingdom. Then make an easy attack on a fellow CLI kingdom to gain protection and not give the CLI kingdom the opportunity to have a pre before their re. To prevent this abuse and conspiracy a kingdom with a retal on them from a non-CLI kingdom needs a flag that completely prevents the effects of CLI until that retal expires.

My understanding is if you have CLI and take a castle you gain protection whether the kingdom you attacked has it or not. Wouldn’t be able to pass anything to a teammate until your protection window ended, and the kingdom you attacked has retal rights on you that bypass the CLI protection. Could be wrong, so someone please correct me if I am.

I think of it as an area of consent. lol. CLI is a situation where it should take 2 to tango. Kingdom A has opted in. Kingdom B hasn’t opted in. Therefore the fight is opted out. CLI kingdoms can attack each other to get that style of gameplay but if they’re attacking someone who has said no I don’t want to play that way the whole fight is not played that way.

We’re all guessing right now. So we’ll find out when we do.

If it's in the game, you have to use it otherwise you're at a massive disadvantage

DougEfresh right. But that’s with the attacking kingdom being the non CLI. They shouldn’t get CLI if they don’t have the tech.

I’m really looking for the answer to what about when a CLI attacks a non CLI. My thought is they do not get CLI because it is something that has to be opted into by research and both parties are not consenting to CLI.

Can we tweak CLI to work for outer province attacks?
If My prov mate is hit, I should be able to hit the attacker but someone outside the province shoudnt be able to, if were playing CLI fairly and not promoting farming.

In the other thread. Thane already mentioned this CLI only benefits the CLI Users. If they attacked with or without CLI, they will have the CLI benefits.

I was hoping this is only affects CLI against CLI. And it will not work on non CLI to be fair.
With this, CLI users has an option who to attack.
