Gnome GH space

The gnomes are preparing for war! As the troops started rolling out there appeared to be a hiccup in the blueprints. The Great War Machines weren’t quite so great! They were small, puny, tiny, petite, miniature versions of the originals. They looked like catapults only smaller.

Balista and catapults are only taking up 1 GH spot. Balista should be 4 and catapult should be 5?

i know they cost that amount of peasants but do they also take up that space?

the unit page doesnt say anything about them taking extra gh space

As I recall, they originally occupied just one space, but in the game "Strife" it was adjusted to take up more.

They took up extra space. I think Ballista's were 4 and Cats were 6 troops.

It takes 5 troops, but 1 spot at GH (Also in my 2005 spreadshets), It would be very bad otherwise, since the militia is huge.

TheKeeper Seige units were never built in significant quantities to really matter, unless people were fucking around. Look at the upkeeps, it won't be an issue. It was fixed to take 5 GH spots later.

Catapults are strictly not worth it(need to balance later when we get to that point 30 years later) unless you want 1 to RP as your commander...lol.

Keep in mind they virtually exclusively train at castle rate so until you get like 10 castles you aren’t using that much GH space but once you get over 10 then that’s like 2gh per tick on just cats… might not be bad or give them half their training cost as their size ie bals 2 cats 3? Just ideas.
