ELF race might be too OP.

We performed a Truesight on a Kingdom on Realms and found they had a notable number of Schools (299, about 30% of their total buildings) and Guard Houses (85, around 6.5%). What surprised us was their unexpected strength; even after multiple 'gank' attempts, including my pre-attack with over 5,000 troops that was completely wiped out despite my upgrades (level 2 blades and level 1 armor), and subsequent allied attacks, we were unable to conquer them.

Even a third attack which is the retal, comprising over 4,000 troops and heavily featuring units from the Advanced Training Center, failed to break through their defenses. 😆😆😆

He was within 85% of my attack range. A significant penalty appears to have been activated, affecting my attacks due to the loss of my troops. 🤣🤣🤣

Wow, looks like those Mages are really doing the trick. That 1500 Mages is over 10k ranged attack points, which kills your troops before they can attack. That's also an investment of almost 3 million gold - so they should be pretty powerful.

I'm guessing you didn't send any ranged units? Elf/Gnome are the worst races you can attack as an Orc.

My Lord, our troops fought with all versus Realms at Lithar-19 , but we were unable to invade. We had bloody falls in battle and we were unable to stand firm in battle, we were obligated to retire from the field.

Also funny how during test rounds everyone kept complaining about how weak the Elves are and how they suck because they have bad armies, radda radda radda... Now in the real round it's all the opposite "Elfs are OP!!!", we didn't change anything, what changed? I guess players are taking them more seriously now lol

Lord Thane I'm only guessing that there might be bugs in Realm's KD, as three KDs still cannot break him. Kindly take note that he is heavily invested in wizardry at a 30% ratio. I could be wrong, but it's surprising that three big KDs aren't enough to break him. 🤔🤔🤔

King Haybol have you also considered that your true sight from beast might have been wrong? His _3k wiz vs realms 8k seems odd you got it in the first place

King Haybol actually, you may be correct. I pulled up the battle reports and I see an issue. I will have to investigate further tomorrow when I have time. In the meantime, you might not want to attack an Elf lol

Orcs were all at the top not too long ago and nobody complained they were op or broken. It’s almost like different races do well at different stages of the round, and racial counters are a thing. Hopefully the game is able to grow so there will be targets of all races in people’s ranges

skigglez Even though we've been strong attackers since day one, we at the top still have our complaints. It's unfortunate that some players have fallen behind, but we don't believe it's our fault. We also readily accept random heavy penalties and the activation of CLI to help solo players close the gap with the top. 😎😎😎

Matchups make fights. Orc is weak vs heavy range. I’ve had TS show 270 of a unit when they actually had 428.

Let’s say the ts is 100% accurate unteched and on no strategy the mages, archers, and EA is 12k long range damage. EG and no tech 18437. With range tech and on energy gathering that goes up to 19908. The troops that died had in the neighborhood of 15k defense.

trupheus yeah, and he definitely got spanked at Range, but he didn't get zeroed out, some orcs survived to get to Melee and managed to put out a good chunk of damages - but for some reason the elf didn't get any casualties from it in the Melee phase. The elf would have still won, but they should have sustained more losses. I'm wondering if it's a bug with the elf racial strategy because the Mage gets some perks in Melee - maybe it's doing something to give melee immunity to all units lol

FriendsInSpace I was wondering about that, but it seems unlikely, it would only revive 20% of troops max - so for zero casualties just in one of the phases of battle is weird. The elf lost units in long and short, so there definitely seems to be something odd going on.

I don't remember seeing a heal % and didn't check med centers either. At first I was just grabbing the data to show how the orc got beat at range, expecting no surprises. But then there was the surprise, lol, so I'll have to poke around deeper tomorrow.

DougEfresh Two things come to mind for me, and I'm not an elf.

They don't know that Mages are bugged, so they keep hitting without knowing and assume it's fine. If it is bugged Thane would tell them to stop.
The game has to keep going for them, they can't just not use their most powerful units not knowing if they are bugged. Should they disband all of them so that in case Mages are bugged and someone attacks them and it's unfair?

If they know it's bugged, then yes they should stop. That's like when the EQ bug hit and the person knew it was bugged and slammed everyone they could. But this is different because in this case Thane knew immediately and hasn't said to stop. If he did, then yes they should and Thane would need to fix things right away.

I am very curious is there really is a bug or if it was the combination of spells and defense advantages mixed with exceptional luck that caused it. I saw people fail castle wins on players with 9 castles, that's not a bug (likely) just bad luck. Maybe this was bad luck too? I don't know the answer, but I want to.
