Castle production bonus

I’m just going to float this idea, because I think the market is handling this as a “fix” currently. Castles would give production boost to all resources not just gold, this both incentivizes people getting more castles which of course is good for attacking. And also would put more resources into the game. Which is needed as we can see iron is lacking significantly in all kingdoms based on the markets reactions currently. I don’t know what the correct balance is, it feels like 1% like gold is not enough but maybe something like 3-5% is enough to help everyone…especially since crime affects resources also, I think castles should be a benefit rather than a detriment.

I think this would be a good idea as a whole new tech tree for castles. We already have the one tech "fortification", I think it would be cool to have a whole line of tech centered around castles.

In the next generation of techs I think we'll have so many possible tech paths/trees that in a round you might only be able to research 1/2 or 1/4 of them. Or it will be like we've talked about before where there's certain tech trees that you can select from and once you start that path it locks you into them - this might be for just some of the techs.

TheKeeper at 10 castles....CLI should be halved or quartered...so everyone is not always under protection.

I like to think of it as at first you use a condom....after that, pulling out is funner. Especially since transport and gate are coming into effect, too much protection, no more condoms!

Jets that actually could have been an interesting game mechanic. If CLI hadn't been turned into a tech, then I think it definitely could have been a possibility of turning it off mid-round, or maybe just disabling it after a kingdom reaches 20 castles or something like that.

But as a tech, idk. People aren't even going to get fully teched before mid round. I only bought the 1st level of it so I would get the little castle by my name, make people think twice about attacking lol

Have you actually had difficulty finding viable targets to hit? Hasn't been my experience at all this round. Been a couple of times where I've had to choose a target that wasn't ideal, but never had nobody to attack due to protection. Not an argument for or against CLI (there's been enough of that), just generally curious if other people are having troubles finding people to hit.

skigglez yes. Yes I have. In the past 48 hours of the 18 attack attempts I am aware of. Zero. Zero have been out of protection.

skigglez once majority are at 10 castles and majority have 24 hours of CLI you can stay in protection always

Strider meh, I used the new item last night and saw less than half of kingdoms were in protection. It doesn't seem that bad, healthy mix of open/protected kingdoms, there's a lot of war happening everyday.
