Since the last thread got confusing and a couple different ideas were being proposed at the same time, I am going to re-post this discussion in a different thread with what Thane had said might be an acceptable modification for voting on for next round.
We modify the castle chancification to scale upwards.
How it currently works
You have a stacking 10% chance of losing a castle on a failed defense, per castle you own, from castles 1-10. ie. You own two castles, there is a 20% chance you lose a castle. You own three castles, 30% chance. 10 castles? 100% chance you are losing a castle on a failed defense. But then above 10 castles, you only lose 1 castle from 10-19, 2 from 20-29, 3 from 30-39, etc.
My modification to CyberPetras idea
We scale up/continue the chancification straight through to infinity.
You have 11 castles? Lose a defense, you have a 100% chance of losing 1 castle, plus an additional 10% chance of losing a 2nd.
You have 15 castles? Lose a defense, you have a 100% chance of losing 1 castle, plus an additional 50% chance of losing a 2nd
You have 20 castles? Lose a defense, you are losing 2 castles.
You have 22 castles? Lose a defense, you are losing 2 castles, plus an additional 20% chance of losing a 3rd castle.
And it just keeps scaling upwards.
Have 100 castles? You are losing 10 castles.
101? 10 castles, plus a 10% chance to lose an additional castle.
This is the version of the idea i would like to be voted on for implementation Next Round. Thoughts?
