bierlym If you are struggling with bigger Kingdoms hitting you, you need to keep your army out. Try to log in the tick they come home and get them out again.
If you are getting bottomfed, there are quite a few people here looking for targets, and it is just a test round to speak the cowards name and I am sure someone will hit them back for you, allowing you to take back your stuff.
Losing your army is all apart of this game, its the vicious cycle of rebuilding and trying to stay ahead, while using diplomacy to keep yourself form becoming a target.
