Lord Thane These battle results look completely off and needs to be investigate because Infantry Attack looks horribly bugged. This is the third BR that I've seen with these kinds of terrible results
Let's break it down:
The total defense of the units killed on the Dwarf with full armor upgrades, Light Armor 4 and Heavy Armor 1:
77,081
The total amount of Long Range damage that the Gnome had at 80% for defenders disadvantage was:
105.6k
The Shieldbearers ratio from the losses assuming he's on racial strat was 13.3% would drops the LR damage down to
91.6K damage. Infantry attack doesn't affect Long Range so this damage should be the minimum that got through.
Next should have been the Melee phase, where the Gnome had 55k melee damage after 80%. So whatever units survived the Long Range phase, should have dealt their damage. If Infantry Attack works the way @Lord Thane said it does where the 2 units that act as "infantry" in the strategy get a 2.5x melee attack bonus, then there would be 119k melee damage before the units that were lost in the LR phase.
Based on a TS and the Units Lost, the Dwarf had about 23k worth of LR damage. The gnome had about 30k Defense worth of Tier 3 and 2 units that should have soaked the damage (even more because of the infantry attack strategy) then the remaining should have done their melee damage. Given the ratio of 23k LR from the Dwarf to the 30k defense, 76.67% of those units should die. That would leave 27.8k Melee damage plus 4.8k from the Ballista making a total of about 32.6k Melee damage.
There should have been about:
91.6k Long Range
32.6k Melee
124.2k Total Damage
But only 77k Defense points were lost. 47k damage is not accounted for
Instead what happened is
Of the 80% units that were fighting for the Gnome EXACTLY 76.9% of each unit died.
@TheKeeper @Lord Thane The Strategy is clearly bugged
