Query “Invisible” Units “Sometimes” defending my Kingdom.

I am not sure if this is a bug, but it does seem very strange. I just logged on after a long dinner (so unaware things are happening at the the time.

I am going to post in the order of events (time wise)

1) On May 8, 2025 at 02:10:08

Army/Food Drop (Keeper)

2) On May 8, 2025 at 02:44:49

Got attacked (success defend)

We managed to kill : 100000 Knight 0 Infantry 0 Pikeman 0 Heavy Infantry 0 Archer 0 Mounted Archers

But we lost : 520 Knight 3479 Infantry 6101 Pikeman 1148 Heavy Infantry 6091 Archer 980 Mounted Archers

3) On May 8, 2025 at 02:45:12:

Attacked (success Defend)

We managed to kill : 0 Knight 100000 Infantry 100000 Pikeman 100000 Heavy Infantry 0 Archer 0 Mounted Archers

But we lost : 0 Knight 0 Infantry 0 Pikeman 0 Heavy Infantry 0 Archer 0 Mounted Archers

4) On May 8, 2025 at 03:00:01:

Troops Starved/Abandoned

Regrettably, due to insufficient Guard Houses, the harsh winter took 5930481 of our precious soldiers, succumbing to the merciless cold.

5) On May 8, 2025 at 04:06:37:

Attacked (lost defend - lost castle)

We managed to kill : 604 Catapult 7079 Infantry 7678 Militia 3038 Rider 7678 Rock thrower 917 Balista

But we lost : 6416 Knight 6396 Infantry 6380 Pikeman 6411 Heavy Infantry 6381 Archer 6414 Mounted Archers

End Result: I still have even units in my barracks. So somehow I killed everything in defence, but saved enough at the end but still lost. The variable damage to units is not working (remaining is even units).

Not sure if these outcomes are to be expected.

Variable damage cant do anything if all the troops are dead.

You may have missed the comment. I still had units surviving at the end of everything. About 2k of each unit.

I wasn’t able to keep any of the units that was given (or did I?)… not sure what remained after the first initial attacks since I was out at dinner.

CyberPtra I'm not really sure what the question is? The battle reports seem normal to me, attacker got spanked by your ranged units in the first attacks, then your units starved off, then you got broken once in the weaker state from having lost the free big army.

Exactly-ish 2k of each unit survived after everything…. I had no MC at the time

Does knight healing and the not committing 100% to the defines of castle account for the remaining??? So I was “zeroed” for those who defended? So the weighted damage allocation did not apply? Sorry. I am just trying to understand.

CyberPtra yeah the damage allocation doesn't do anything if you got zeroed out - there's nothing for the allocation to allocate if all your units are dead.

After the troop abandonment you probably had however much troops you could house or feed, which is probably a pretty round number, and then when you got zeroed out on the loss that was probably a clean 70-80% of your force. So if you had 10k troops, defended with 8k, got zeroed out, left with 2k.
