xiAo-Shin Star I think that adjustments are in order. Obviously a castle pass happened and/or good strategy. I'm sure given a few more days a better balance will come to light. My initial reaction is also, wow (da fuk just happened), but also...how different this is from before. Which is what the comments were that begun the change request....make attacking first great again. On the scale of things, technically we got what was being asked for.... however, it does appear that a better balance is being required. At least an immediate adjustment was made for those who take retaliation will now receive cli.
Break break
At some point. I feel as though when I want to attack everyone will be under protection...because we took a very small player base and doubled the kingdoms under protection....but I dont know that as fact, so for now I'm just going to watch and see what happens.
Good news, everything is reversible. I think we just need to speak logically rather than emotionally, come with ideas of solutions rather than pure disagreement.
On the subject, I firmly believe that a defending kingdom should get more protection than an attacking kingdom. The attacking kingdom likely grew and took the chance for that growth and should be more vulnerable than a kingdom that was hit. I also believe that an attacking kingdom some have a moral boost off of a win....so protection is a nice way to display that... But I disagree that both situations should be created equal. Do I have a solution? No...an idea I am thinking is. 18-hr protection for cli and 24-hr protection for castle loss. That gives a 6 hour time frame of potential pre re, but also those 18 hours will make the pre hurt. I also believe that this idea creates other issues that will cause disgruntling among the masses. At least with transport your army will have returned and it gives you an even bigger opportunity to save yourself for those 6 hours remaining from retaliation.
For now. I just ponder the ideas that could make the game fun. Right now, I'm more surprised at at what just happened and it changed my strategy immediately.
