We've had this discussion a few times since the test rounds, I think there's enough support we may run another poll to see if it's something everyone wants. I'll put it in my notes to circle back to when there's time.

Maybe some people will be satisfied with how Caragous or Wolf Masters work if we document it, but others will go on and on, until (for example) they know exactly the formulas we use for the spells, and if we give them to them, (I know) they'll go on and on.

This way, it would take more time documenting the game than improving it.

We know that what we put in the guide will never be enough... ever...

The things we can do, is correct the wrong things and the things we changed

I get that people will always want more, but at the very least things like military units and techs should have what they actually do in the game guide. It’s a big disadvantage having one unit that you have no idea what it does vs a race where every unit is fully explained. Same with techs - maybe True Silver is OP and worth early investment or maybe it’s complete trash and not worth getting at all. How can you decide that if you literally have no idea what it does. There’s no way to even test it during the round. I’m not asking for extreme details on any of these things, just have the game guide show what they actually do.

Lord Thane lol thank you Thane, I think the games needs more of this. I think that the fact that it says there are bonuses should be enough for people to understand and maybe work out what they are by talking to people of different races and experimenting with different races each round…

Even if you don't update the game guide, are you able to tell us what True Silver actually does? The human racial tech gives specific percentages as well as an example, but the dwarf has zero info. I'm assuming it just increases SB defense by a fixed amount, but how much?

@Lord Thane @TheKeeper I've noticed that gnomes only get about 4.7 wood per mill at optimal level. The game guide says they should get 5. Was this a change or is it an oversight that needs to be fixed?

The same issue with iron production being about 3.75 per mine at optimal level when it should be 4 as per the game guide
