Sun Tzu Trupheus is right about the Mage, it doesn't get affected by bow tech.

Yes, both catapults and ballista get their attack boosted from the sharper blades tech, as does their rider and infantry and militia units too 🙂

It's definitely worth it though, it almost boosts all your units!

Lord Thane One I'm curious about is the Gnome racial upgrade, Explosive Powder. I've always assumed it's good but never knew what it actually did. Any hints or outright explanations on that one? Considering how Elf, Human, and Orc have theirs completely explained, it would be fair to explain both Dwarf and Gnome. Please?

Are you saying Sharper Blades applies to their Long Range? If it's truly a percent boost to their attack stat, they have an attack stat of 0.

Nolio it buffs the cats and bals, both their ranged and melee attacks.

I guess I should ask about SB and mounted archers. Does that it give to melee only or both melee and range. Silly, but good to ask.

I don't remember about gnomes tech tho, maybe I'll look it up tomorrow and see if it should stay secret or just mostly secret.

trupheus yes, all their units except slingers. Cats and bals get boosted for their ranged attack too.

Slingers do get an up grade they get improved sling that’s gives them 3 attacks per slinger when that tech gets done i do see a lot more kills in the ranged

temo we're not talking about all techs, we're talking about sharper blades tech, which effects all units except slingers.

Nolio you're right, it's a +50% buff.

Lord Thane at one point keeper said ranged tech was only a 10% buff.
Did that get changed? Should make sense why ranged it so damn powerful

Lord Thane I think people assume that the range upgrade affects all ranged damage, and that it increases catapults and ballistae by 50% as well. But as the tech description reads, it only affects slings of rock throwers.

Yes it would be awesome if it boosted catapults and ballistae, but I don't think that's how it works.

DougEfresh I don't think it changed, he may have been mistaken at the time. Maybe it is too powerful 🤔
