DougEfresh well, I do have some interesting ideas for catching very advanced multis (people using VPN, etc). But I still don't think there's a multi problem at the moment. I'll be setting up that system soon regardless though, more advanced detection.
We could consider adding a new rule about it though, something like family/household players can't share info like TS, etc. it wouldn't be hard to spot, since we know the players in the same households, so if one of them cast a TS and then the other made the attack within x hours, call it illegal colluding or something I guess... I don't know if it's such a problem that we need it though.
Fireball is capped, eq is capped, and it's taking extraordinary/unsustainable measures to reach those limits. I wouldn't say that necessarily constitutes magic as being overpowered, especially when the defenders have had feeble magic defenses.
