Enphetamy no, it's the first real round. We're coming up on the 1 month mark of what should be about 3 months of play in the round.
Although it's a real round, we're still actively developing the game and adding new features all the time. It's a 2-man operation and it's a passion project, so we do dev when time is available. We are trying to limit core feature changes as much as possible so people aren't having to constantly adjust their strategies in major ways, so things like the battle system we want to leave alone as much as possible from here on.
We've added a lot of interesting mechanics to the game to help balance, so by next round we'll probably have a new set of core rules that will go into effect depending on how well those mechanics performed in the first round (like the castle chance rule might go down to only affecting the first 5 castles, etc).
Once I get a couple more big features implemented, like a new modern theme/skin system, then I'll turn marketing back on. I was previously getting a new player for every $6 spent, hoping all the new features will bring that down a bit 😵💫
