Please tell me what do you think about this redesign 🙂 , don't forget, it's only a proof of concept, the real one would have the actual technologies and cool icons

It looks like POE ergo complicated and I hate it.

Really though it would open up a world of possibilities. Magic spell that combines EQ and Fireball? Famine and Freeze? Fireball and Sharper Blades connect to allow magic to boost those benefits? One spell to combine GB, GC, Bless so you only need to cast one spell instead of 3 once you reach that level of magic mastery.

Magic is fun. So many things could be done.

trupheus I'm open for new ideas, and yes, it's POE inspired, Huge, chaotical, but it let you choose your path for your playstyle, I want to introduce exclusive branches, IE: classic Thardferr tech remains the same, but the new ones, some of them will act like this: If you take path A, you can't choose path B

Alriiiiiighty, look what my idea was. This is what I had planned for a theme, give it a classic rpg game vibe:

Researched techs appear brighter, maybe put a glowing light behind them for extra emphasis (this thing only took me like 1 hour to mockup, so it def needs some polishing). Click to open a box with more info and research button.

I like it because it makes seeing what you did easier, and looking forward to see what's next. The visual element gives more immersion, slightly more modern than the old one, maybe just enough.

That’s what it is. Couldn’t quite narrow it down.

Oddly I prefer the web Keeper has goin. I really dislike POE because the web is so complicated. The crazy amount of possibilities and differences in kingdoms could be fantastic. And if you could pay exorbitant amounts of gold to change a tech after you’ve completed a tech so you can shift your build… nice gold sink.

Think both options look good. In the opinion
that research times could be reduced. So would be more down to what research path you take/ gold than time. This would mean midd round players could catch up faster.
