Wasting your breath trying to discuss the issue - maybe when there's 30 players left they will regret not listening to the players shouting that it's an issue. He acknowledges that it's not a sustainable strategy and that it's niche - but if it involves another player getting completely zeroed why does it need to even be in the game? Why should the caster's few days of "fun" matter more than the player who just wasted the last month playing the game. But i guess if you just hit any and all people every day that are in your 50% KS window you should be safe - haha

We're thinking of reducing EQ to 15%, and maybe have it grant some protection to the defender. Other than that, it's a community issue to police players like Trupheus who sidestep the game in favor of trying to ruin it for others. I'll give you guys a hand up in this regard (policing trolls) in just a bit ☺️

Having a protection is not a solution. what's the point of this protection when you already got EQed to death? I don't think it can recover all of that lost in that timed protection.

skigglez it's abusing game mechanics to troll players at this point. I thought when he did this the last time the players would have destroyed his kingdom for good, Keeper was even saying he was gonna stick him in witness protection (race/name/province change). It's crazy that he didn't change and he just built right back up and nobody did anything.

On a side note, I do find it comical that people actually think they know what's going on. K19 is like the US military, we have no idea what we are doing and that is why we are dangerous.

What was abused specifically? How many EQs should he have stopped at before it enters the realm of abuse? If it’s in the game it should be free game for players to do. If what he did was abusive in your mind, then aren’t you acknowledging it’s broken? I know Keeper mentioned changes before i started typing this, but I don’t understand your thought process here

I'll apply ASAP the following Changes:

EQ limit to 15%
EQ gives retal
If victim loses more than 10% obtains an special EQ protection for 8 hours
EQ caster obtains 4 hours of protection from attacks (if he destroyed more than 10%)

Still dangerous, but not lethal

If the caster casts on multiple kindoms, will have a lot of retals over him...

With this, I think Trup will limit his wizards not to cast 10% damage each cast. Or perhaps you are talking about the overall total damage if it reach 10% then you'll get the prot?

I find it hilarious they allow someone to drop 90% of their KS in a single tick with no practical solution to stop it but draw a line at attacking below a certain percentage of you KS. If you allow EQ to do that much damage in a single tick remove all BF restrictions. Players who hit below 70% should be handled by their peers and the players should stop being coddled by the game code. If the top player is farming the lowest players the community should handle that

My worry, is that if you truly want to use offensive magic like this it is a permanent all or nothing game. If it’s too weak, it’s pointless to even try. If it’s a hair too strong, things like this are possible. Am I going to do this if I can’t cripple a kingdom to the point of not being able to retal? No. If magic can’t do this so that they can’t retal but I’m risking castles what’s the point?

We’ve seen what happened when this went wrong. I had 11 land 2 castle. thank abakar all you took was land on your last retal and didn’t reduce me to 1 castle and basically no land. This is what happens when it goes right.

KS being recalculated after EQ and not just at ticks and attacks would also make this not possible. He would have eventually been too small but not completely reduced for this to be possible.

trupheus yeah that's the part about helping them police trolls.

Most people just want to play the game. Some people, for whatever reason, feel compelled to play a different game of finding bugs to exploit or mechanics to abuse with the sole intention of ruining the game for others. Some might say it's karma when bad things happen to that second group 😵‍💫
