Xliest ties DO go to the defender. The battle I mentioned for @xiAo-Shin Star was an attack against him, he and the attacker both got zeroed out so he won his defense. It was just funny to see the skeleton strat actually work for once 😆

Keep in mind the defending kingdom did not truly get zeroed. Defending with 70-80% and losing that entire army means there’s still reserves. So any fight where defender and attacker both lose 100% the defender should win.

OgGnome my last battle worked out pretty good, a foolish Orc attacked me:

We managed to kill : 5035 Shadow Warrior 1116 Rusher 2420 Slother 1262 Wolf Master 1437 Slinger 1552 Axe Thrower

But we lost : 25 Catapult 766 Infantry 7260 Militia 199 Rider 9302 Rock thrower 44 Balista

Much better than the last 4 attacks I lost to dwarfs/humans lol

Blahblah what? It was a foolish attack, they had a tiny amount of ranged attack and I had a huge ranged attack and using FF on top. I didn't look at the battle report but I'm guessing the entire thing was over entirely in long range phase.

Too bad I was only 1/4 through rebuilding my armory though, gonna be another day added just building spears and slings.

Blahblah lol, that's fair. However, they only lost their sharper blades, which I'm certain never had a chance to come into play since long range phase must have been decisive.
