Unfortunately no. And what was once possible isn’t because of changes. EQ is now capped at 15% and the target gains EQ protection if you destroy more than 10% in one cast. Oh and they added in EQ reflections if you fail. People called it bugged, it wasn’t, EQ was just overpowered. I could have nuked a kingdom every 6 hours at my peak.

skigglez if you remember, I was part of supporting getting those fixes in place. As for being comparable, why isn’t it? You were getting EQ’d multiple times in a row by the same person. It was a magical attack and you lost buildings and KS. And if you read his post, he isn’t asking for changes, he is just asking for someone to fight alongside him. I’m the one saying that something needs to change or the game isn’t going to last. And I don’t mean to make game changes, I mean the players need to really reflect on this issue and take note before it’s too late.

Yes losing all of your buildings via EQ without any protection from a kingdom that’s half your KS is very comparable to being attacked 2 days in a row by the same guy, where you get between 15-20 hours of protection for each attack. That’s a hot take, you should join Stephen A Smith and Mad Dog on ESPN

I think it's a different death but still death. You tried to negate the EQs you knew were coming by getting schools and wiz, which is very impractical for a dwarf to do. Much like a range heavy race can try to negate an Undead Skeletal Legion that they know is coming. Both, though, are damage sources that the defender can do nothing to stop, which is simply bad design. Unmitigatable damage should come at a heavy cost. Some have even called Undead overpowered, which they are in very specific scenarios. Much like EQ was overpowered in a very specific scenario. Should the only answer for the range heavy race be to just find a way to get CLI so they can't be hit by the Undead?

That's a different topic completely - Cora is complaining about someone hitting you too much. There's already a bunch of mechanisms to help lower KS kingdoms, and there's protection offered when you get hit, you can use QR and build MCs, etc. If you can't manage to stay afloat after utilizing all of those tools, then it's likely a kingdom management issue and they can reach out on the forums for help. Problem I've seen with that is every time someone gives advice, the person getting the advice comes up with a million reasons why it won't work and changes nothing (and continues getting stomped).

There are always counters to races - should you nerf catapults because Gnome crushes Orc? Once you go down that rabbit hole you just end up nerfing everything. Undead legion does well against Elf yes, but Orc crushes Undead even harder than Undead crushes Elf. Should Orc get nerfed because it does too well against the Undead legion swarm? What's the answer that the Undead has against Orc? Should we just make every race have exactly the same units so there's no advantages/disadvantages?

I'm a huge proponent of matchups making fights. But how good is too good, and how easy is too easy? There's a difference between a slight edge and extreme disparity. It's a near hopeless fight for some people, which will drive new players who aren't accustomed to having a near 0 chance.

4 of the last 5 hits on me have come from your alliance and 3 of them from the same person. I don't think it's a coincidence that the multi's that suicided on me before deleting were also from your alliance. So, I understand I'm getting a biased answer.

@trupheus sorry, the very disappointing comment was made about authors using AI to write novels now. Not towards you using it for your post. I love to read and just hate the thought of books being taken over by AI.

No easier than a SB dwarf hitting a gnome, or a gnome hitting an orc. There are natural counters built into the game, many instances where the person on the receiving end can do nothing about it. It happens. On the attacking front - when your TS precedes many of the hits against our alliance over the span of a week, of course you become a target. Notice how nobody attacked you until that started happening? We never had any intention of hitting you - but when you join a war expect to be attacked. That's just part of the game.
