Konkistador Quick retreat seems to be a good option when you want to save army at the expense of losing land/Castle. I think there should be a strategy that would oppose to this. "Fierce defenece/attack strategy" when you fight with all your army until the last unit to defend the castle or land. This would mean you defend with 100% of your army instead of the default 80% but at a 5%/10% extra damage to your army expense.
Konkistador Enphetamy would say completely the reverse of QR. Double damage for both sides and increase in chance of win. Guess if both have sides have QR and the new strategy this would mean there is no benefit for any. As they would null each other.
Konkistador Nolio guess if it would favour the risk taker wouldn't be against it, maybe limiting the benefits to a smaller proportion. Just think would be good to have a strategy to counter QR, how it could look like would be open to discussion. And probably one for next round as don't think changing it mid round would be fair.
CyberPtra How will the "Fierce" strategy work when used against "No Strategy" (or any of the other ones?) Will the Fierce attacker always have the greater chance of victory.... Then why would we ever use anything else? At worst you are even, at best you have a better chance of winning...
Konkistador Guess it would increase the damage to double (or a %) on both sides, this would be in adetrimental increased damage on your own army (greater army losses), plus you would fight the openness 100% defending army. So there would be risks you would lose too.
skigglez not sure that i like that - if anything make an anti-QR strat that has a downside built in just for you if they aren't using QR. Shouldn't be able to lock the defender into increased losses and having 100% of army exposed. Top guy could just use that strat and army wipe people 50% of his KS
Konkistador skigglez guess you got a good point, could unlock the 100% defending army if used by the defending side. Or else only increase both sides damage by double or a certain amount.

Konkistador skigglez guess just a suggestion, always in the opinion that any change would be a community driven. Rather than ones idea. Think could be a good idea if anough backing. What exactly would look like would be up for debate.
Xliest Can we just work on getting the strategy’s we have to work and maybe be named something relevant to each race. Still do the same thing, but maybe have it as elf swordsmen attack, dwarf hammerwielder attack, or something…
