skigglez lots of ideas for events in real rounds, I didn't think of anything like this one though. I was thinking more like a custom built dragon or something - you wouldn't be able to get land from it, but you could win loot after it died depending on how much proportional damage you did to it, that kind of event thing.

This is funny timing because I'm like 5 chapters away from finishing the 4th book of Dungeon Crawler Carl, which is named "The Gate of the Feral Gods", and in the book there's some gods doing things. My reading and game time is randomly starting to intersect, WE LIVE IN A SIMULATION!

Cora The Gate of the Feral Gods felt like a bit of a hump, not as much drama and things started to feel a bit episodic for a while, but now it's heating up at the end. I reaaaaally want to finish it tonight!

I was talking to my buddy (who got sidetracked halfway through book 5 and just the other day started reading it again) and we were tossing back and forth ideas about meanings of things, how things work, future predictions. One of the things that was interesting was how he mentioned wondering about NPCs "waking up" and I remembered he isn't able to see the side-story that happens at the end of each book, which is actually all about "awoken NPCs". I don't want to spoil it too much, but I told him I'd scan the story so he can read it, I can email it to you when I get around to it too if you want!
