trupheus Personally I can see the argument both ways.
If retals gave retals: If someone 200k hits down to farm someone 101k, even with a two castle loss from a hit + retal, the 200k kingdom will be able to recover MUCH faster than the 101k kingdom and the end result is much more losses for the smaller kingdom unless they have big friends that can help. The net exchange is massively in favor of bigger kingdom. I'm imagining in this scenario, if I were the smaller kingdom, AFTER the initial attack maybe the spread is 150k and 50k. You think the 50k kingdom that took their castle back should be able to be hit with another retal by the 150k kingdom?
Without retals for retals: the net exchange is still two and two, you attack, take 1 castle. You get attacked twice, lose two with a retal to gain the second one. Zeroes out to a net of zero in this situation. Meanwhile the smaller kingdom doesnt have to worry about being attacked from a kingdom that is now 3-4x its size.
