        TheKeeper sounds good, just bringing it to the forefront considering we are talking a lot about tech right now.

          As a new feature in the future possibly we could retard production by a significant amount maybe 75% of everything iron, gold, training, wepons, and you only defend with some amount less than the max army so that “the greatest minds of our kingdom can get to work developing new technologies” and tech goes faster but at a large cost you could turn it on or off only every 5 ticks and it wouldn’t apply instantly.

          trupheus it’s a part of the game for now… I think when we get into the big balance discussions they might revisit how gate works. Possibly making it elf only to compensate for their terrible armies. I want to see if it’s viable to use it to grow from middle of the pack to the top or if it even works in this game version.
