Welp its happening as i said....people are passing castles for prot. We will need to come up with some solution for this before it gets outta hand. Solutions i have seen before:

  • lower prot to negligible amounts with less than 50% home
  • not allow provinces to hit themselves (this can be gotten around easily tho)
  • reduce army losses to almost nothing so ur not afraid to defend and u always have an option to attack back....however i dont think i like this cause now what are we even doing if we cant kill each others army
  • Add a medical center type healing in battles to recover ur forces after a certain amount of time, this also can work into a MC rework as well

Spitballing a bit but yea trust me Thard was not very fun we people efficiently castle passed....granted it was a strategy that if both parties are using it still comes down to who plays better/more/has more friends. Just depends what route devs want to go with the game. If people can abuse it to get an advantage be sure that...they will

    Crazy idea I had earlier was attacker protection. Attack someone and get 3 ticks of prot. Someone could still retaliate in that window. If people fake an attack to give an ally a retal to gain protection (1 unit attack to give retal) that is easily catchable. Punish both with EQ and FB to dust. This at least gives people a chance to catch the attacker before they’re put in protection by an ally.

    Another crazy idea. What if protection didn’t prevent attacks but you got some kind of crazy buff to defending and your production during that window?

      trupheus I was thinking about that attacker pro idea, but prolly gonna be some abuses on that too, everyone be in protection all the time. Also thought about what a no retals or no protection world would look like.

      Replacing pro with buffs is an interesting one, might be something to that idea!

      What if we did some kind of special castle protection so you can only lose 1 per 24 hours or something, except for retals.

      It's a social problem. And it will always be a problem until it is simply not worth it.

      I didn't mind CTA's(?) answer which was the minimum troop value required to stay at home or you only got 3 ticks prot. Whatever value that was... made it not worth it to take your buddies castle. Offense wasn't hampered because the 70% defense rule was also in play on the defenders side. Right? idk I could be wrong but I believe that's how it was. Seems to kill a few birds with one stone.

        Jules the only problem with the cta rule was people would hit with low kingdoms when your army was out to whittle you down to having less than the % needed for real pro then you were 3 ticked and you would get destroyed

            And how can you identify castle passing? Because eventually, enemies are left and right including those who are multi's and pretty active. I mean if you attack and got hit right after by someone or anyone that you don't know, that doesn't count as castle passing. Unless the devs knows who is who. Who ally with the attacker, Who attacked the attacker or where the castle went. or Perhaps the devs has 24/7 time to check each KD's logs.

              Darteye farm accounts are equally a big issue. Not really sure how you solve that outside of an IP checker

                xiAo-Shin Star would be fairly simple to implement a alliance mechanic that gives you some sort of passive bonus for the number of days you’ve been allied with up to five other kingdoms, you also can’t attack your allies, if you drop the alliance to Castle pass, you would lose the passive buff

                  I mean it’s pretty obvious when an attack is made at 58 minutes 30 seconds and that kingdom is back in protection before the tick happens.

                  It’s either highly coordinated between multiple people or you’re running multiple accounts.

                    For the second time i will comment here even if i know this forum is one sided. All i can say is that "When you are surrounded by enemies, the best thing to do is to take underprotection all the time. Its not because we do castle passing we are multi users already. We are different individuals living in different locations and having coordinated attacks. Thats how we love playing this game. We play with heart. 100% dedicated to the game. Checking on time. Scouting.. etc! Even if we are also busy in our jobs. We spend time just to manage our kingdoms. Im here in europe country working as a truck driver. Thats all i can say. Now to you TRUPEUS WHO ALLIED ALMOST ALL THE PROVINCE. HAPPY NOW? enjoying the game just farming with your bunch of alliances? E1, T1, L1, L2, L7, T10, (L10 Mack). Congratulations on making this game a farmville.
