As per game guide the population food upkeep is 1 food per 6 population. In old thardferr population food upkeep was removed.
On 30 land;
4:1 houses gives you roughly 15000 population with habitation
1:1 farms at max level you produce 4500 food (without irrigation and 0 crime rate)
4500 - 2500 = 2000 food
With the remaining food, even at home you can barely feed 0.6 GH per land and have to forget about sending army to anywhere doubling their upkeep.
Casting GC is not a thing anymore as the spell casting success rates at game guide is in place. Amount of wizzies needed, their upkeeps and insufficient rest rate makes it not worth to run schools. Even if you did you would be in much more dire situation economically. Cast GC every 6 hours using 10-15 wiz per land (to ensure spell not fails) but you won't be able to rest enough wizzies for the next GC and you have to also sleep, etc.
If we continue as it is please refrain from any resource dump and monitor how many will be feeding their kingdoms with multies.
