Number still suck takes 4 hours of forging to make 1 hour of troops lol as a gnome and at double optimal I guess I'm going to have to run 2:1 forges just to make an hour of forges an hour of training...

    TheKeeper 2.4 is not the same as 5 I suggest re evaluating the way your think about how numbers work in this game there were lots of flat factors in fact the only thing that was percentage based were markets… now it’s basically backwards.

    Production numbers may be not matching the old game unfortunately i can't provide insight as i never played gnome.

    But, i remember this very well that gnome players used to produce slings for several ticks and when they are ready they produce RT in 1 tick (to save from paying upkeep) and do the RT suicide thing. It was never enough to cover 1 tick of RT.

        Xliest it wasn't thrown under the rug, but @TheKeeper decided to take on the fix and after considering options chose an incremental buff was the way to go. A +20% bonus is not insignificant, perhaps your idea for +150% would have been too aggressive, we'll see how it goes.

          Lord Thane it is insignificant even if we are talking about 100 forges which you would really only get to at around 150 land that’s only an extra 20 weapons it’s less impactful than the weapons tech even.

          DougEfresh it's crap numbers for a gnome.

          @TheKeeper I loved gnomes because I could throw little almost pointless troops at someone and within an hour or two have my crappy units back. It was also cool because gnomes don't get gate... gnomes don't cast spells so the deaths of the RT and Mil where key to playing gnome. You throw massive amounts of RT and Mil with other units mixed in. The massive numbers of these two units ensured deaths which as gnome fodder was key. You pumped them out like no other to have them killed it was win by massive numbers and rebuild within a few tics. It takes a day or even two right now to build just my RT and mil.. it's just not doable with an actual war. The attack and defense of RT and Mil are way to low for the out put of these units. Gnomes as it sits right now are just about trash! Seriously how can it take me just as long to put out a unit that has 1 attack and 1 defense as it does for other races to put out a units that's 3 times that. Play a gnome and try to actually war with any other race.. it's silly plan and simple gnomes are trashy and broken so is my heart... I took pride in being a gnome now I'm sad they suck so bad!

          Let's look at just this BRs troop numbers... 305 Mill and 397 RT... at 31 sling and spear an hour... that 1 battle took out almost 10 hours of troop building.... that's trash asssssssss numbers!! 136 inf which I have to take spears away from fodder to only make 5 an hour... that's almost 24 hours of making inf alone...... 28 riders at 2 per hour.... that's 14 hours. Now please tell me how a gnome with half his units being "fodder" can keep up with the production of his troops when it's literally 10 hours of building RT and mil taken out by someone's 2 or 3 hours(I don't know humans for fuck all) how can a gnome be in a war and maintain any kind of fight... it's literally impossible totally impossible and I'm not the only one that feels this way... I build build build and build to have someone come in and screw everything up with little to no problem. Maybe the devs should play a gnome and feel the pain of being the thardferr bitch! Lol I'm not mad.. I'm sad.. gnomes honestly need help I was one of the best gnome players back in the day. This isn't gnome this isn't fun this... is sad sad sad saaadddddd stuff. It's not fun to spend hours building an army to have it's stool pushed in! I'm constipated I'm so packed tight!

          That was everything I had built for almost 2 days... gone like dust in the wind!! Only thing that made it out of this fight was 9 cats and 6 Bal

          Please tell me how this is ok!?! This is from the game copy and pasted.. it's sad and not right! At this point your better off not making RT and Mil
          AND my military has techs.. 2 blades, improved sling, and 2 leather.. which means nothing.

            OgGnome you are supposed to have at least 10 TC’s oop and should be able to build at lease half that amount or weapons… which would mean you need 2.5x forges to TC that doesn’t seem to far fetched but when you go up 20 TC and need 50 forge on 40 land not to mention you need 2:1 mills 4:1 houses 1:1 markets and 1.5: farms to be able to afford to build the weapons you have no room for GH even after all that. It’s rediculous I agree.

            TheKeeper no I'm talking about our forges producing more unless you have over 1:1(even then its not helping much)forges you can't produce enough to keep up with your army. I'm making 131 Slings and Spears. Spears are used for 3 units. Which is fine and dandy. But at the rate that gnomes lose troops you can NOT keep up. Gnomes lose troops at a stupid high pace they should because they have a lot of fodder. But if I make an attack and I lose 1700 RT and Mil... at 131 slings an hour.. that math says it would take 13 hours to make enough slings for that 1 fight.... that's a lot man! Then if you get hit and lose the other half of the army. Your talking 26 hours of building for making 1 hit and hitting 1 times. The whole point of a gnome is produce quick die quick and honestly there's nothing quick about taking 26 hours to rebuild troops from 1 attack and defending that 1 time..

            For example right now I got 58 land.. I got 43 forges. At double optimal level I'm making 154 of each item in armory.. now check this out!!
            I made an attack and I'm using the deaths from the attack for my example so mind you I didn't have this many forges at the time.. but fallow me here!

            But we lost : 0 Catapult 18 Infantry 616 Militia 1 Rider 1041 Rock thrower 0 Balista

            That is 616 Militia and 1041 RT

            Now mind you this is the deaths of my troops on an attack that gave me my forge #. and I'm using the # of forges just as a example. So.. if I had the forges I have right now to build those troops back.. it would take me 3 tics for Milita and 7 hours for RT... so before the attack your lookin at 5 or 6 hours of building Militia and 12 or 13 hours of building RT from an attack... and a attack I won.. it's taking gnomes so long to build we don't have gate to use we don't have anything but deaths and rebuild at a fast pace... and 12 or 13 hours to build enough troops from making 1 attack that was won sounds silly. Now.. what happens if I get attacked with retal and pretal and I lose ALL the other half of my army... now because in 1 day I made an attack and got pretaled retaled I'm all kinds of screwed! It will take literally a whole day and a half of NOT being attacked anymore NOT attacking and just building...... I really hope what I just typed made sense and something is done about this! And what's the point of me making 303 slingers an hour if I will NEVER make that many unless I just don't attack and build armory and hope I don't get attacked. The forges for gnomes need a boost bad really bad! There's no way we can keep up with armory if we don't get some kind of boost I feel like all iam doing is building troops and hoping and praying I don't get it. And when I attack I'm hoping I don't lose to much fodder because I'm never going to be able to built it back!

            Here's another example!!

            There's a gnome he's got 1:1 forges armory tec and is making 337 weapons a tic!! Now look at the losses!

            But we lost : 3 Catapult 457 Infantry 3725 Militia 67 Rider 5350 Rock thrower 6 Balista

            This attack was won by him now total losses for RT is 5350 divide the total losses by the amount of weapons vuilt an hour.. that's 15.92 HOURS!!!!! ALMOST 16 HOURS on an attack that was WON... imagine if he lost... and how long it would take to make that.. Helen Keller can see there's a problem here!! This is with 1:1 and tech!! Even the losses of inf is ridiculous so either make RT and Mil strong so we don't lose as much or give us more weapons from forges! If not there a broken race! Andddd how the shit biscuits can anyone keep up with resourses with THAT kind of losses and armory building.

            I think a bigger bonus makes sense. Maybe we should put an extra production bonus for kingdoms in Alderd and Khardfee.
