This was one of the worst decisions i've seen in a game. I see that you're pleasing the 'majority' so its cool. To me, it tells me everything i need to know about the direction this will take.
Dont take me wrong, props to you for making the game, but a few english native speakers that are active on a forum are not the 'majority'. It may feel like so because the player count is low and it feels like the active players are the ones talking but i doubt thats the case. Really, im super against bottom feed (if its a province vs province war, well, shit happens), castle passing and all that shit but i dont see how this benefits the gameplay in the long term. Yes, it will secure some unfair situations but also why should i hit someone 80% of my size? Also, its not like we have a lot of players to pick from.
Anyway, you say you started/will start the marketing to get new players. If you're relying on the new players to join and be active and participate on the forums and vote on polls i think you have a surprise coming your way.
