TheKeeper I think the late-joiners thing would already work on its own since sending to a new player in protection means they're at least like 5 days late in the round? Unless you want to only allow it for later in the round. Limiting to in-province could be good, but idk if it's even necessary - people are worried about things that haven't been a problem yet / multis.

Multi accounts will be deleted before they leave protection… right?

    TheKeeper why are we so hesitant to include things that make the game a little bit like what it was, with out affecting the game play style of any new concepts or directions it is a simple ask, you can’t send aid from inside IP if that hasn’t been implemented yet that solves basically all of the issues.

        DougEfresh didn't see any sign of multi activity in my last check. Theres a handful of players in the same household, but no sus aid being sent.

        Ya it’s not just about the aid though thane, I understand that it’s not easy to detect but it’s multiple coordinated efforts… again one of the things that the players are pretty good at susing out, not 100% obviously… just watch for patterns is all I’m saying

          Xliest I was thinking of building a multi detector AI. Feed every bit of game info through it, it could detect a lot of those kind of nuanced situations. Maybe something to work on when things slow down.

            Lord Thane ya don’t need to go hard in it there will a few probably but but as long as it’s not ruining the game right now we are safe I need to talk to you about your weapons system warranty though. lol but seriously 3x gnomes weapons needs to be a thing can’t survive on 1.2x

              Can we re-consider this… it seems like we have a pretty good multi detection and elimination system in place for rule breakers, you still would. Not be able to send aid out of initial protection, but getting an aid package from a friend or province mate when you are just starting out can be invaluable both in the social connections and gameplay aspect of the game…

                Xliest can’t you send it once they come out of initial protection? The whole point of initial protection is setting up your kingdom and being self-sufficient. The extra resources sent this beta set all the numbers off what they would have been. I don’t think initial protection should be messed with. Leave it as is. There’s already going to be a boost for late starters, now you want to give them more?

                  Cora I agree. Plus, if people want to trade resource during initial protection, they can use the fair trade in market.

                  The idea of helping new players later in the game will be moot, since I'll have the new player boost setup by then which will give them supply/land/peasant/building dump and cut their protection time down.

                  I'm of the opinion that during initial protection there should be no outside influence on your kingdom. Spells, aid, or trading.
