Nolio lol, mk, it was worth a shot 😆

I'll see if I can find your fill order tomorrow, maybe it's in there with a bug or something. The way the system works is there's 2 buckets, one bucket holds orders and one holds order fills. When you buy something it gets a ticket tossed in the order fill bucket and that's what keeps track of your order history. So there should be a order fill ticket in there under your user id, if not then it's lost to the void. it's new enough that I can pull all the MP fill tickets and see if anything stands out though, maybe someone figured out an exploit or something 😭

I thought the race resistances only applied to offensive spells… it shouldn't prevent beneficial spells… I thought everyone was equal when elves cast on any race.

The poor casting ability is when dwarves/gnomes/orc cast. But can receive casts from others at baseline of the caster (elves/human). Dunno. Can someone confirm?

I’ve successfully cast blessing twice with MP using between 5 and 6 MP per land as undead.

    Questions:

    1) Can the MP be used for offensive spells and TS?

    2) Is the magic choice/option based on the magic-tech tree level of the casting (MP using) kingdom?

    3) Just clarifying, the "power" of the MP is an fully teched elf with 1:1 school and each MP is equal to about 1 wizard.

    4) So if a human makes a potion, it has the power of a fully teched elf?

    1) No
    2) Yes, depends of user
    3)Yes
    4) Yes

Any chance elves could get the ability to use MP to cast any spell on any kingdom? With the exception of GB.

Anyone could cast me blessings and farseeing, I will pay 400K golds immediately. Thanks

Any chance of having a way for MP to regenerate? Even if it’s very slowly. There was mention of adding another building for MP. The current market prices for MP are outrageous. It takes the same amount of wizards to generate MP as it does to cast a spell. Why bother generating MP to use for the spell when you can just cast it?

Cora generating MP for a caster would be just for selling purposes. It's same as selling spells, basically. Thats pretty much the perfect balance we want, where casting on yourself is cheaper than using MP - cuz we don't want MP to replace casting. We also don't want MP to become so accessible (like from a building) that it lessens the value of MP for caster kingdoms - less competition.

As a dwarf, I don't have any schools and zero wizards, so I can either buy a spell from a caster (difficult to coordinate, haggle, and reliability) or I can just grab MP and do it myself right away whenever I want.

Pricing, at least for me, is pretty reasonable so far. I found 6:1 ratio was sometimes failing, so now I'm at 7:1. My last cast cost me 1400 MP, which cost around 150k gp I think. The result of the blessing added 50k gp for 12 hours to my economy, or 600k gp. So for 150k MP purchase I got 600k gp back. That's worth it even if I fail once in a while.

MP should be less valuable to casters. For them, it's just a tool to sell their magic. Easier than going on forums, finding a buyer, haggling price, and then dealing with angry customers if your first attempt to cast fails, etc... instead of dealing with all that, a caster can just generate mp and dump it on the market.
