That is still not right to dishonour your own word.
And again you would be given the notice. So calling that backstab is overstatement.
I still see no problem to break an alliance with notice to wage war against a more worthy opponent at the round end.

If that's your trait, then you are looking for a NAP. Don't call for an alliance if you have the plan to disband it. Alliance is strong brotherhood until end of the round.

Lord Thane ohh....no no no... I just was educated on circle jerks recently, I guess they all skeet skeet on a cracker and the last one eats it. So we assumed the massive alliance was circled, jerked, and plum full of crackers
