Important Battle/Play Style Poll For Pre-Re/Castle-Pass
Leo thinking of the dumbest most boring play style possible doesn't discredit CLI at all, it actually reinforces why it's such a good idea because people have to sacrifice their lives to utter retardation just to use CLI in a way that doesn't make sense.
And as Skigglez pointed out, that moronic strategy is already possible. As long as the players aren't using fake accounts to do it, it's fine. Though it wouldn't work for very long with just 2 people, as the feeder would drop in KS to the point the fed kingdom would outgrow the KS hit cap very quickly. If a whole group of people want to circle jerk one guy to the top, dedicating their entire lives to that one cause, that's fine by me - it doesn't negatively affect anyone else.

Good thing i am sitting this round out. You asked how to abuse CLI B, i told how to abuse. You can easily get to grow twice/thrice the size of every other player. It is broken. If someone uses it, will he be accused of abusing the system?

Because you’re going to have to keep building a better mouse trap and/or turn it into the winner is whoever has the biggest n+1.
I did outline it here. https://forum.thardferr.com/d/253-consequent-attacks-on-same-tick/29
I’ll go into more detail
Out of initial protection person 1 has no army.
Person 2 has 1 GH full
Person 2 sends 100% at Person 1 and wins a castle. This puts person 1 in protection because they lost a castle and person 2 gets CLI because they hit for a castle.
Person 1 trains 1 GH full while in protection.
Sometime towards protection ending Person 1 attacks person 2 with everything. Wins a castle. Person 1 is in CLI and Person 2 is in protection.
Repeat and spend the entire round being able to only be hit for land or in protection. Land hits don’t matter with Farsee and field glass someone can easily explore 40+ land a day. I will easily be able to have the resources because I don’t need to devote anything towards an army.
Leo it's not a flaw in CLI, it's how it's supposed to work. You have flawed logic, that's fine you just don't understand.
Do you think your scenario is not currently possible? It's actually a lot easier without CLI.
With CLI, the feeder kingdoms have to get rid of their troops, or keep no troops - which presents a big problem with them continuing to be viable feeders. They have to send out their troops to be an easy hit for the fed kingdom, which opens them up to getting retaled outside the group, further diminishing their KS for the 50% needed. So then what? They disband all their troops, get fed on, rebuild their troops hoping tirelessly to keep their KS up to the 50% level? So 5 players are going to sacrifice their entire round just to help 1 guy get in the top30 and hope he can stay there? Hilarious.
You're actually arguing to help people be able to feed a player to a top spot. Now I'm thinking you're part of an alliance that feeds players to the top and abuses pre-re to win, and you're scared of having to actually play the game fairly.
trupheus again, you haven't shown anything that shows CLI is flawed in any way. Your scenario only describes a normal behavior of two kingdoms attacking each other with CLI in place - I really have no idea what your point you were trying to make?
As for your 'outline', it was easily and totally debunked:

I feel like showing you how it can be abused in practice this round, but then you can’t ban me for “bug abuse.”
Deal?
EDIT: I 100% agree with trupheus logic and can easily see the abuse. And I 100% don’t see eye to eye with truph so trust me he’s on to something.

I am not sure if you are going to implement CLI B. But if you do, i tell you the scenario:
A province of 8 people all at 45 land 1 castle
All have 0 troops
30 hours prior to initial protection they all start a castle
The orc in the province trains 7 units
Once the protection ends orc attacks all of them using 7 generals gaining 22 land 1 castle each.
Orc ends up having 199 land 8 castles and 30 hours protection time.
I am honestly suprised and dissappointed that we are putting this up for vote.
Thecatman
lol exactly - and those other prov mates can continue feeding that one guy castles until they drop below 50% of his KS. Now you have one strong guy and 7 turds. You can sacrifice your round like that if you want to.
But the important thing is that the CLI system proposed changes nothing about that tactic's current viability. Nothing proposed changes the ability to do that. The fact that people don't understand that is astounding, and their votes on the subject should not count the same as a non-retarded person.
saadht
Current system is the same, as soon as you lose 1 of those castles you get protection, and should be able to out produce anyone who doesn't have 7 castles. The benefits of preventing castle passing far outweigh the limited downside to this. And if people are that sweaty to get ahead in a game, they will find a way no matter what the rules are.
Leo
Current mechanic you lose one of those 8 castles and get put in protection. It might be less protection but it's essentially the same scenario. Now you're so far ahead of everyone else that you can't get a castle passed to you in the same manner.
You guys need to explain it to me because to me making 7 attacks right out of protection is still possible? Sure you get 30 hours of pro but with the system right now just add one more player to the mix and castle pass and you still get pro so how's it different?
lifelessace
Why would i do that? I could if want to but better i would cycle this again for another province member. Lets say human. 5 generals. Gets to 155 land 6 castles. And cycle it enough time to get 4-5 strong KDs in very short time.

No sir. Right now I pass a castle to my friend, I get immunity but he can still be hit for his castle. In CLI B, my friend who just received my castle has immunity from losing it. Anybody who hits him only gets land. We continue this charade nobody can gain a castle from the bigger friend of mine for as much time as I’m in protection. All he needs is a good field glass and farseeing, you hit him he loses 5-10 lands gains back before he’s OOP. He’s back to where he started no consequences whatsoever.
It’s difficult to explain in words I guess and some of our first languages aren’t even English.
It’ll be much easier to show it, just no crying foul and bug abuse, it’s not a bug abuse it’s a design flaw.
Edit: I’m confusing the two, I get a castle pass I get protection. It’s worse.
Leo
What prevents you from doing that right now?
