Eri okay, now let's flip the script on your scenario - how is the 75k kd supposed to defend itself against a 100k kd who also has a buddy helping him pre-re you? Now you're double fucked... CLI would at least put you on a 1v1, where your strategy can give you a fighting chance. And the 75k kingdom gets a KS buff to help kill the 100k kd troops faster.

Maybe if u will do cli. Mybe gave a buff when getting a retal against a bigger ks and - buff the bigger ks when defending.. same when attackng lower ks u put penalty when bottom feeding or below 75%

If you could use this strategy with CLI, why didn't you already use it when there was no CLI? It's 10X easier to use that strategy without CLI in the way.

CLI doesn't make this made up scenario easier, it makes it harder. CLI doesn't make this scenario possible, it's already currently possible.

Lord Thane Well, I have in my queue avoid inter-province attacks, would be a little more difficult to adjust the Leo's scenario

That would be helpful. Because less incentive in a province based play. It is only possible within a province where players are well-organized or via multi. Disabling inter-province attack has been proposed many times now but i thought didn't get much popularity. It makes much more sense now with CLI.

Lord Thane start initial vote for CLI A vs B. Then take winner a poll that version yes or no.

I can see why this works. It emphasizes strategy and economy. Winning a war doesn't come down to how many friends you have, its if your strategy can sustain the attrition of war. I personally like it for that reason.

Will people trade attacks and look for advantages? Yes.

Will they have as much fun playing as they would if they just played the game? No.

War will take much longer to win because it will be more about sustaining economy and troops than outpacing castle collection.

Only flaw is your basically only attacking full armies all the time, so fighting someone higher in KS will prove difficult. Losses might need to be scaled back a bit?

I do understand where your point is. This is why we have Message in game. You don't have allies, your not one of it? Then be one of it. Start looking for one. I get what you mean. As for the new comers, new players. I bet they already know the mechanics of the game before playing, sure enough they'll learn and look for one that they can depend on.

@Lord Thane You should combine CLI A and B for the poll. Then if it wins, separate them to determine which one gets implemented. Because right now they are leading when you add them together, which shows that a majority of people want something put in place. But separated, it looks like nothing changing leads. Do you know what I mean?

My scenario is like this.
A attacks C for a castle.
Now A is in protection because of CLI
A's buddy B can't attack A to do a castle pass. (too bad for B.)
Now, Attacker D a friend of C can't Attack A because of CLI.
So A is happy growing under CLI
Now C asks Attacker D for a pre.
Attacker D says: Wait what? I aint gaining here! I lost shit. Armories, troops, time retraining. Better look for another target.
Now C, still on rebuilding what was lost.
Now C is left behind don't feel win, sad and frustrated. lol
You guys all thinks about the castle, where's the outcome of the game?

xiAo-Shin Star your scenario is good, that's a good thing for all kingdoms in the scenario.

Kingdom C should retal the hit on them.

Under CLI A, kd C can get a pretal from D against A, to help break A's garrison. D will only possibly get land, which is fine because he's happy to help his friend C. Then C can more easily retal A.

Under CLI B, kd C can't get a pretal, so their option is use their retal to take back their castle. If kd C can't break A in a retal with all the odds in C's favor (A has only up to 80% of garrison defending + has much of their garrison away from the attack), then C should learn better kingdom management to be able to defend themselves against such a basic attack.

What you've described is a basic attack scenario that happens whether CLI is active or not. The root problem for C is they're not prepared to defend themselves whether they have a advantage or not, whether they have CLI or not. Theres no excuse in the scenario for C's incompetence, and CLI is not hurting them.

So the solution is for A to lose 2 castles because they made the mistake of attempting to play the game and attack? B is free to take his castle back from A, or C can wait until A is out of protection to take it back. Why do you think it should be inherent that A is supposed to lose 2 castles when attacking for 1? Do you see the problem with that?
