It's sad how flat the L19 stunt has fallen on its face. If they put as much effort into brainstorming ideas maybe they could come up with something that would have had an actual impact.

This changes nothing but some research time to activate CLI as it gives the kingdom a clear advantage over the ones who don't have. So, everyone should and will need to research it unless kingdoms with CLI can't attack kingdoms without it which is not viable due to low player count.

Leo who changed their mind? I wrote back then the same thing I wrote now = as long as those feeders are real players then it's just a weird strategy. A real player doesn't create an account, feed 1 player, then quit. That's just a functional multi. If those 5 players keep playing the whole round then there's no problem, they can even keep trying to be feeders the whole round if they want, it's not my time they're wasting.

xiAo-Shin Star no, you can't pre-re because the fed kd would pass a castle back to his friends for protection. Also, he only took castles from his friends, so there's nobody to get a retal - regardless of CLI or not.

No, I wasn't active in the forums before today, why, I have a life. Yet I and so many others come back time and time again to play for fun. To rejoin the friends I made in high school from across the globe.
Massive sweeping changes during a live round that have not gone well for anyone who isn't able to sit on their kingdom every second of the day. You say this will make casual play better, but there is no evidence that reducing protection for defending kingdoms is going to improve their abilities to rebuild.
Wanna make it all a non issue? Declare this another beta round. Changes won't hurt so much, both in game and on an emotional level. We're loud and angry because we LOVE THIS GAME and we don't want to see it ruined. Ruining it isn't your goal, we all know that, even if it doesn't feel like it, probably on both sides.
I understand wanting to make game play more inviting for new players, but you also don't make the forums very inviting for people to express how frustrated these changes are, especially to those of us who didn't participate in the initial CLI voting.

Not exactly the same. But, i feel i have to address one critical difference that no one mentioned so far. The ability to gain the castle back with pre-re. That will be a rather long post from me trying to cover as much as i can from both perspectives. So, work being the priority currently i will reply with a longer post later on.

Leo Your opinion are always welcome, instead of say no-no to CLI, if you find a way to improve it, would be great.

Meanwhile, we'll let it some time from now on, and then adjust it to improve it.

TheKeeper here's an idea as to how to improve it. Attacker only gets up to a max of ten hours of protection after hitting someone. Otherwise, the person he hit is going to be at an extreme disadvantage training economic wise. There has to be an opportunity ticket. A lead to me on attacking back. But yeah, the attacker also has to have some way of trying to defend themselves if they had to send out most of their army.

Kingdom a gets ten hours of protection
Kingdom b gets thirty hours of protection and thirty hours back on a retail, right.
The attacker should not get as much protection as the defeated defender.
It doesn't matter if they took a castle or not.
That gives way too much of a heavy advantage in the attacker's favor.
Also, the only difference between a Providence feeding one person, castles and the traditional castle passing. It's that they didn't attack to gain those castles, they built them themselves. If someone chooses to build a castle and pass it, I can understand that strategy. It sucks, but it's not at the cost of somebody else being the victim.
This is another reason why we have the poll voting. Of not allowing attacks within one's own providence. I'm sure there are other things that can be thought of to maybe improve cli.But yeah, I cannot come up with them at this moment.
