Leo who changed their mind? I wrote back then the same thing I wrote now = as long as those feeders are real players then it's just a weird strategy. A real player doesn't create an account, feed 1 player, then quit. That's just a functional multi. If those 5 players keep playing the whole round then there's no problem, they can even keep trying to be feeders the whole round if they want, it's not my time they're wasting.

To me that seems to be the only way to support a friend and that is what i intend to do. But, i might need to stop playing due to real life issues. That doesn't make me a multi nor my actions till that time.

No, if CLI is not there, they are not untouchable, pre-re is there. We can wage an all out attack without worrying about getting retailed and gets CLI.

xiAo-Shin Star no, you can't pre-re because the fed kd would pass a castle back to his friends for protection. Also, he only took castles from his friends, so there's nobody to get a retal - regardless of CLI or not.

God you're so positive and stuck on topic. Again, even there is castle passing it's not to the point where the retal will passed away because of the protection. With your CLI here, you are under protection until the retal is gone.

People will think of other creative ways to take down a larger kingdom.

No, I wasn't active in the forums before today, why, I have a life. Yet I and so many others come back time and time again to play for fun. To rejoin the friends I made in high school from across the globe.
Massive sweeping changes during a live round that have not gone well for anyone who isn't able to sit on their kingdom every second of the day. You say this will make casual play better, but there is no evidence that reducing protection for defending kingdoms is going to improve their abilities to rebuild.
Wanna make it all a non issue? Declare this another beta round. Changes won't hurt so much, both in game and on an emotional level. We're loud and angry because we LOVE THIS GAME and we don't want to see it ruined. Ruining it isn't your goal, we all know that, even if it doesn't feel like it, probably on both sides.
I understand wanting to make game play more inviting for new players, but you also don't make the forums very inviting for people to express how frustrated these changes are, especially to those of us who didn't participate in the initial CLI voting.

Not exactly the same. But, i feel i have to address one critical difference that no one mentioned so far. The ability to gain the castle back with pre-re. That will be a rather long post from me trying to cover as much as i can from both perspectives. So, work being the priority currently i will reply with a longer post later on.

Leo Your opinion are always welcome, instead of say no-no to CLI, if you find a way to improve it, would be great.

Meanwhile, we'll let it some time from now on, and then adjust it to improve it.

TheKeeper here's an idea as to how to improve it. Attacker only gets up to a max of ten hours of protection after hitting someone. Otherwise, the person he hit is going to be at an extreme disadvantage training economic wise. There has to be an opportunity ticket. A lead to me on attacking back. But yeah, the attacker also has to have some way of trying to defend themselves if they had to send out most of their army.

Kingdom b gets thirty hours of protection and thirty hours back on a retail, right.
The attacker should not get as much protection as the defeated defender.
It doesn't matter if they took a castle or not.
That gives way too much of a heavy advantage in the attacker's favor.
Also, the only difference between a Providence feeding one person, castles and the traditional castle passing. It's that they didn't attack to gain those castles, they built them themselves. If someone chooses to build a castle and pass it, I can understand that strategy. It sucks, but it's not at the cost of somebody else being the victim.
This is another reason why we have the poll voting. Of not allowing attacks within one's own providence. I'm sure there are other things that can be thought of to maybe improve cli.But yeah, I cannot come up with them at this moment.

Sinnywinks Thanks for your suggestion, I put CLI as a tiered technology, from 4 to 24 hours, with that we can see if (maybe) 10 hours is enough, or 12, or 20..

Scrap this one please... If you guys wanted to implement something.. make it fair.. not like taking upgrades like this. How about the other kingdom who has still undergoing another technology. Not fair to his part... So if the devs really wanted this CLI... PLEASE MAKE IT FAIR.. please... Not on the tech. As it will just make worst scenario...

Loving the meltdowns. Now, after playing 20+ years i just found out i cant delete my KD because thats 'suspicious' rofl. The lengths you go just to try and prove your point baffles me. feel free to delete me and add that rule to the game policy.

TheKeeper wont matter any of the talks if you dont put a leash on Thane. He spins the story as he pleases and now just wants to delete everyone. Thats a good way to get rid of people thinking others ways than yours. They problem here is that everyone that was against L19 (hell, there was a hotline for people to line up against US last round) finally Saw all the flaws on this new system. What sense does it make to implement such a Change right after finishing a test round that could go for another week or two? He keeps talking about democracy but the pool was just a smoke bomb. No One knew how this would work, every scenario asked was answered with insults and cynism. Do as you please, i couldnt CARE less about this, just dont go around and treat people as stupid. I do give you merits for rebuilding the game but developing the code doesnt make you an expert on the game dynamics. You either want people feedback and build the game around it or not. Its ok either way, just dont bé misleading. And now yes, let the little dictator go and delete kingdoms because he dont agree with what other people does with their Kingdom.

I've mentioned that CLI is abusable just to be called jagoff and flawed. I've described the scenario just to be laughed at. Still, provided my input of some additional improvements to prevent it. But, the thread quickly turned into a meaningless and unproductive calling names. So, had to stop exchanging words but carried on to show it in practice.

I am confident that i've showed enough tolerance so far to this attitude but can't find it in me anymore.

There is no such thing as functional multi. A multi is a multi. If you want to define something new, make it a think-through of the outlines instead of biased, instantaneous reactions. I can already think of several ways where it can backfire for normal gameplay and can keep you occupied to answer & investigate the requests due to suspicion of a player being "functional multi" if you give it a serious meaning.

Leo if you and jaxx could use actual logic in your arguments, then you would probably be taken more seriously. As it is, you're just using multis to feed a player and calling that a flaw in a different game mechanic that is completely unrelated. The fact you tried this manipulation as if it would be meaningful is your own waste of time, not ours. Yes those functional multis and their benefactor will be deleted, anyone can clearly see that's the right thing to do.
