near the end of last round i looked through my old news and realized like 60% of my hits and defends the whole round were between me and lord eagle

I wanted retals give retals as well, but we couldn't reach consensus. Keeper was against it and in the CLI poll where we had like 50 people voting, the retals-give-retals only got a paltry 6 votes, not near enough for me to make a case for changing it, unfortunately.

We can come back to the retals issue later and try again. I don't want to push it so early since "the people have spoken", but perhaps for next round. Or maybe even mid-round if we find CLI slows war down too much once everyone gets the tech and kingdoms grown in fuller, and if there's enough support from players.

    King Haybol I know, it's kind of appealing to me, total slugfest without Interlopers.

    If/when we implement rules for ks <70% no cli, and <80% castle chance, then it adds even more craziness to the mix.

    i think the 80% castle chance is crazy. Whos gunna risk that?

      DougEfresh of the 2 20k guys that hit me at 10k, I bet one of them would have taken the odds and hit it. I mean shoot, one of them pulled a Full Send on me, pretty ballsy. Kicked my ass, but it cost them. If it only deters half of BFers, and you only lose castles on half the hits, that'd be pretty good progress on BFers imo.

      If we found it restricted target pool too badly we could always loosen it a bit, maybe set the castle chance to kick in at 70%, or increase the odds to 60 or 70% in favor of the attacker. Dial it in so BFs aren't so prevalent, and players don't feel hopeless, but also not restrict the target pool too badly.

        Lord Thane Just keep in mind 'bottom feeding' OOP(ish) could be someone more teched out and have an additional 3-5k KS from techs alone.
        Someone goes irrigation and gets in to a quarrel with another KD doesnt have the money or time to get 5 techs done and is essentially at huge disadvantage.
        I am not condoning the feeding but maybe techs shouldnt be giving KS?

          The tech is up to the player's decision and game style. You are only making it worst if this will be implemented. Remember, this is a strategy game. ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜

            I donโ€™t see why KS wouldnโ€™t be impacted by techs. Techs impact the strength of your kingdom.

              trupheus I like to think of it strategically - if my target is tech heavy and I've only strategically used tech for things like army, then KS for KS I can probably hit harder... Although maybe not in a prolonged battle if they're heavy on economy tech.

                Lord Thane If the economic techs werenโ€™t 150 hours I might agree.
                Maybe implement KS growth to time spent researching?
                150 hours getting 15 food does not = 150 hours getting light armour techs as a human. Even in prolonged battle.

                  Lord Thane Yeah i just felt its devastating effects. Cut from 66 land to 33 then one tick later again to 17. kept the castle but not worth trying to recover. restart needed.
