Offensive spells are a very hard thing to balance. Now if we find out he’s also running 1:1 GH that can be retrained in 15 hours… that’s a problem. Something like this I would hope takes extreme measures by the caster.

I don't want to unveil sensitive KD info, but that EQ used an insane amount of Wizards, plus Race bonus, and a massive amount of schools, target KD has little magic defense.

If that is so, it looks like its better to switch to off spells rather than attacking with low chances of winning because of CLI

Holy shit! What a bunch of small KDs could kill a big KD using offensive spells. And if I took the retal, I have no CLI since they're below my range and also have KS penalties. Damn Spells!. Good luck for those pure troops KDs.

King Haybol wowowow, that's a lot of damage! I built 0.3 schools and 5:1 wizards to keep on hand just for magic defense. Can't be too safe on that!

It's either they don't see the problem or maybe "Nahh, i'm not on their side. thats better for them"

Instead of checking on it and make some changes before Off spells are taking over the game. Magic defense is not the solution for this.

No you weren’t. You were 73k earlier in the day and got army wiped. You were middle of the pack in top 30 when you got EQ’d. I don’t see the point in lying about something like that, everyone knows you weren’t 73k

King Haybol You were at 57K ks, Katy was at 58.5 as in was BIGGER than you, and Goldwood was at 38.5k ks. That said, ouch that looks awful

Not guaranteed, but it does make it more difficult, AND having schools/wizards lowers the negative effect of spells.

Successful offensive spells give retals, as they should, but currently failed ones don't. Maybe as a balancing thing, failed fireballs/eq's ect. should give retals as well.

Would make getting some magic defence for military KD's a bit more worth it, as if they block a spell they get a free hit through pro.

It would be nice to see someone try to defend. Like could you reflect the spell back and they EQ themself?
