xiAo-Shin Star , some is off with mine too. Been casting without fails, last 2/3 days failing every cast. @Lord Thane , could this change be the reason, or any other change applied to undead recently?

Konkistador I don't think there's been any changes to any magic recently, other than the things done to earthquake last week.

xiAo-Shin Star that sounds about right. As a gnome I usually use about 12:1 for blessing, and it still fails sometimes.

Should Undead not have higher changes of cast, hence one of the race bonus is a 10% spells defence?

Konkistador a spell defense doesn't specifically mean a boost to your casting power, it could just be a buff to your magic defense if someone tries casting a offensive spell on you. I don't remember what the Undead magic capabilities are, I think it's similar to Humans though.

Konkistador If you have a higher magic defense then you have lower casting chance. It's one or the other, not both.

Dwarf has a 40% magic defense, they have a -50% casting rate called malus. Gnomes have a 35% magic defense, -37.5% malus

Lord Thane , I don't remember ever defending as spell this round, with 1:1 schools and max wizz. You if it could be checked it is working? Or just turn the 10% defence bonus to a friendly spell bonus for Undead, that would be grand.

While we on the spells topic, is there appetite to add a spell on level 4.

Kingdom protection reveal. (Same as the bonus stone received)

Would say same level of difficulty as GB.

Maybe one for next round or this one if everyone would agree..

Think this is the only downside to CLI, in my opinion would close the loop on it.

Konkistador we got some ideas for new spells in the pipes. That's a good idea for a spell, will put in my notes for consideration.

We're gonna release some items this round that are tests of new spells - if people like the items then we might turn them into spells for next round.

Nolio , not sure if the spells defence is working in it entirety.
Thane was eluding to a similar casting difficulty as Gnome, so I assume it might not be balanced in this way.
Undead: +10% defence and -10% (casting)(this might be set as gnome then)

Konkistador I've looked into the casting rates, and so far they have been falling pretty much perfectly in line with the Malus per race. There doesn't seem to be any issues here

But I can't speak to how well defense works. That is something I haven't tested nor do I have the environment to do so. So I take Thane and Keeper's word for it

Nolio would be good to test, as with 1:1 schools and over 15k wizz at least some should bounce back from smaller kingdoms.
