Most people just want to play the game. Some people, for whatever reason, feel compelled to play a different game of finding bugs to exploit or mechanics to abuse with the sole intention of ruining the game for others. Some might say it's karma when bad things happen to that second group 😵‍💫

Lord Thane absolutely, incorrect, I don't know why you're going to this extreme. People want to fix things. So the game can be fun for everyone and enjoyable for everyone, when we find something that's as devastating to somebody's game like this, shouldn't it be brought to your attention? So that you can either fix it or explain it and not throw a tantrum of attitude about blaming other people for wanting to do what's right. For the better of the community?

I told Trupheus that we were worried he might hit someone in my province. I showed him the TS and he saw that there were no schools. Out of the kindness of his heart, Trupheus preemptively struck for us. I have the chat if you really need it.

It wasn’t a “troll” and what you did isn’t “policing.” There were reasons why Abakar didn’t interact with the community that often. The fact that the “victim” received compensation should have ended the situation. What are we doing here?

Lord Thane Hitting at 50% means no chance at castles. No cli. You just get drug down.

Have to agree that there should be a cap on spell damage. It can still be potent, but killing 100% of someone's buildings with a singke round of casting is wild. How many days of rebuilding is that?

Even if the community did come together to take down a caster that went 7:1 theres still someone that its going to ruin the round for.

What the fix is wpuld need some thought, but it seems unanimous that its broken from player base

Lord Thane to be fair this is the first time it's happened to me. I haven't interacted with truph at all this round until now. So I wouldn't have seen this coming.

To be fair the ONLY reason I wasn't ruined is because earlier in the day I thought that he would do this to me at the exact time that he did. And we were able to attack him twice in the middle of his EQ spam. If I had gone to bed an hour before it happened I would have absolutely been destroyed in exactly the same way. It also did take me almost 2 weeks to fully recover from it. Spam refreshing every second to immediately retal someone EQ spamming you is not exactly a logical defense. The stars just aligned on that one, and with today's occurrence you can see what happens when you aren't expecting it. The 2 situations are night and day

I told you this was broken. I TOLD YOU THIS WAS POSSIBLE AND YOU CHOSE TO DO NOTHING. Then your typical response is to tell everyone they're wrong, defend your wrong position, punish the players who oppose you, and kill the game. I'm sure an entire playerbase no matter what side they're on is going to love seeing a Dev behave like this. You were against making changes. Then Keeper hops on and suddenly wait, nevermind, changes are happening. Then you throw a temper tantrum like my 2 year old.

trupheus we made changes before, and now again made more incremental changes. You're mad the changes done the first round weren't enough so you went to an even further extreme a second time. So yeah, again there were more incremental changes.
