FriendsInSpace Keeper checked the magic and said it was good, and I put some incremental changes. Theres s right way to petition for further change and a wrong way. He could have cast 1 time and then said "see, I made 7:1 schools and 27k wizards and I can cast this 10 times, we need to make some changes".

But instead, he put on a stunt and became disruptive to the game. Hence, his kingdom was punished.

We aren't going to encourage people to disrupt the game to get a change. I guess we really do have to put a game rule "don't be a douche".

So if I hit the same person every 24 hours after they’ve had their army killed by attacks over and over and over once they are to small for me I have friends do it over and over. Are devs just going to remove my ability to gain protection and attack me over and over again?

A big line was crossed tonight. Really makes me nervous about the direction of the game.

That, coupled with what you did to truph, isn't fixing any problems. Truph only did what was allowed to him within the rules of the game, he didn't hack the system to give him more wiz to pull it off...

When you have skigglez, adin, doug, truph, jets AND THE FRICKEN PINOYS all agreeing something is fucked, well...

1 time is never enough. That stunt is proving that there is a problem within the core. Instead of throwing tantrums why not putting a polls for changes and let the community decides. You are the Dev, and we are here to play. Let us play on what we want, not to play on what you wanted to be. I know you have the rules where you wanted us how to play but you see, Trup is within your rule and he sees there is a problem with it.

So did the KD who casted on Trupheus already have those wizards and schools or did devs create a magic build out of thin air and punish a player for an extreme strategy that was still within the rules?

To be honest, if its the latter thats wild from a neutral 3rd party perspective and pretty unethical. TBF 1 cast doesnt actually give full info if there is a mechanic that needs changed. I cant imagine its a bad thing to know the boundaries that mechanics can be pushed to. That just creates an opportunity to fine tune things. Both kingdoms should be restored and if devs are going to "teach people lessons" it should be lessons they've spent days and hours building like anyone else.

AdinTheDark yes it's intentionally vague, luckily most players are just trying to have fun and don't have anything to worry about.

We talked about trimming the toxic fat a few times over the last week. Every time we cut someone loose who can't just play the game, the game gets better.

This was pointed out the last time it was done to Maga. I don't know why we're getting upset about this other than trying to figure out a way to fix it. I can understand both sides of the argument. The recent actions was not the way to handle it. Once that Kingdom is down there like that, with all that landed. Castles, do you know how hard it's going to be to recover? Because as soon as they come out of protection, they don't know somebody's going to start vulturing. They're going to be continually broken until their landing castles are equal with those around them. This isn't just a simple oh, they earthquake all his buildings.And now he has to rebuild.

that's the issue - who determines what is "just playing the game"? it's completely subjective - if the game allows it then that's playing the game

skigglez not totally subjective, Keeper and I talk about every action done on players/trolls/cheaters and come to consensus about what action to take. So a troll/cheater/whatever at least has a panel of 2 judging them. Better than nothing!
