skigglez trupheus Yeah that's the path that everyone will take, and the late round race swaps forces the people that you counter swap on to swap to your counter. It's just silly. IF they want to keep around the full round race swap it should simply wipe all tech progress, that's the only way that I can think of it being even remotely fair. You could do it early and not be punished, but doing it late to counter someone you're fighting would come at a huge cost.

King Haybol I think you all forgot there would be blood sacrifices involved in this. If my memory serves me, it will burn 50% of all resources, and the military will be completely zeroed, including any units in training queues.😎😎😎
skigglez King Haybol that's not big enough of a penalty - has to be severe like all techs reset to zero, or not at all. You can fill your GH in a couple of days, but losing weeks or more of tech time would make the choice to race swap much more meaningful.

Cora King Haybol % of tech time. If changed pretty early, what impact is a week of research time? Do a % of tech and it will really make you consider waiting for another round instead.
King Haybol Cora It could be a queued positive tick, plus gold. This means if someone wants to research tech, that research time will be added on top of the existing tech's research time. 🧐🧐🧐
