Phantom Archer gets 3 defense but has no armor? Memory is fuzzy and notes are bad I don’t remember.

Throwing an armor on Archers makes them 4 wood 4 iron and 490 gold. Which is not cheap compared to the other TC range units. It would put them even defense with human archer in defense and ahead in damage (costs more gold to train though). It would out them behind light crossbow defense. But they’d reign supreme as the highest LR damage TC unit in the game and have respectable defense.

trupheus undead archer has an armour. I was saying to increase all of them by 1 - if the archer gets 3 base D give sword and lance 4? Don’t know if that would make their military too good?

trupheus I was thinking it would make more sense to armor the elite archer, and then maybe give it caragous armor so it doesn't get too OP when teched out (if that's a concern, idk).

Lord Thane does that make them too expensive? 7 iron, 9 wood, 930 gold seems excessive

skigglez maybe so, maybe the lite armour would be better. I haven't done much comparison on it, just the initial thoughts I've had for a while. I guess with light armor bumping it to 5/4, and then teched out at 5/8 wouldn't be too bad, still kind of weak compared to something like the human mounted archer, and still costs more, so yeah light armor would probably be more suitable to give it better scaling potential.

LA on EA might be the play. Cost wise they’d be the most expensive but they wouldn’t really pop out amongst the other unit 6 comparable in AT, HXC, and MA.

Random thought, are ATs double dipping SB tech and Range tech for their LR damage?

trupheus No, they do not as the range tech is "improved sling range", SB tech applies to their melee attack only and Thane confirmed that.
I will like to add though that the elf swordsmen/lancemen gold upkeep needs to be at reduced by half. I do not understand why it is so high.

@Lord Thane u said cli wont be abuse. U can see the attack on me vs cyber.. just few days ago. After he hit me. Nuts hit him and after that he gate and retal to nuts.. bec he didnt get cli on attackng my kd bec im not 70% on his ks.

Thats why ive suggested upon growing ks cli should be adjust and 50% be adjst as bottom feeding maybe if big ks already u allowed until 70% not 50 anymore. And u get cli 90%.

There would be more attacks if CLI wasn’t a thing at all. And more people OOP. Right now with coordination and execution (your group does this very well) groups can easily hide in protection until they don’t need it anymore.

skigglez less fighting?? No, more fighting it is. Cause like now big ks is hard to find a target if the cli is 90% already. I didnt say chnge it frm the start of a round. Chnge it when atlst 1mnth b4 end of round. More ifghting less cli.. less castle passing.. right now.. someone tried to kill one of big kd in top 10. But wasnt able to kill him why? After or b4 his oop he already castle pass.. with coordination its hard to kill that.. but if cli adjst today. U can get cli 90% only. So its hard to castle pass.. but nevermind tired lolz..

trupheus with how fast troops train and the cost to replenish an army, would people actually be able to attack more than once per 24 hour period? From what I've seen, the answer is no. Sure there would technically be more attacks with no CLI - but alot of the extra attacks would be passing castles to alliance members.

Or, armies would have to be smaller than what we’re used to today. Which was true when food costs were higher. The standard for what low/normal/high GH per land is just might not be the same as everyone was used to. Now we’ve gotten Thane to reduce food costs substantially, but still it’s more than previous versions of Thardferr.

skigglez since it's been questioned so many times, I decided to check a random day, yesterday, and compile some stats to see what the answer is to people making multiple attacks per day lol

Battles: 75 (70 unique kingdoms being attacked or attacking)
15 kingdoms made 2+ attacks
14 kingdoms were attacked 2+ times
37 kingdoms both attacked & defended
1 kingdom made 5 attacks
4 kingdoms made 3 attacks
2 kingdoms were attacked 4 times
2 kingdoms were attacked 3 times

Lord Thane that seems like quite a bit of attacks. I’m not sure what level of action people are looking for, or if it’s just “CLI bad” so let’s create a narrative not based in reality. Toss that in with “retals being impossible” except for all of the retals that are taken consistently.

How many of those were real and not just attacks to give protection and get CLI? My bet is half were coordinated for protection.

trupheus the data shows only 15 kingdoms made more than 1 attack, so at max it could be 15-20? I don't think it would really be that high because of the rarity of instances where having an ally hit you would be conceivable as a good option. I would bet maybe 5-10 of the battles would be closer, if that.

CLI has definitely improved the game.

My suggestion for next round: (some been flying about)

Unability to attack below 70% ks same as the CLi threshold. (Exception being when retaling)
MP can be only used for level 1 spells.
Adding another level 3 spells to see who is in protection. (Same level as GB in casting difficulty or more)

Or should that be part of a TS? Might be a bit broken if 1 person can cast a spell and see everyone in protection.

trupheus final spell tech unlocks that in a TS? Similar to how now each tech level reveals a bit more
