This does give me a good idea for a new feature. I'm going to build in a support system so people can submit a ticket in-game. Then at least there will only be 1 support request per issue.

Then I'll have to put a popup warning for messages sent to an admins kingdom "are you sure you want to send this message? Messaging admin players with support related requests will incur a 1 million gold fee" lol

It seems you think this is funny. But if you can’t tell by all the forum posts, the people that do play this game are passionate about it. This game is a commitment and takes a huge investment of all our time. I think maybe you should try and look at it from the other side. I’m sorry, but devs 100% made a mistake. It shouldn’t be that big of deal to fix it and move on, everyone makes mistakes. Your response to these kind of things will drive this game into the ground.

Iceman and the origin of the person's original messages to the devs was due to a bug with vacation mode. Putting the onus on the players to make sure the devs don't fix things twice is ridiculous. There's a big difference between 900+ hours of initial protection and less than 24 hours of CLI protection with active retals against the kingdom. At the very least apologize to the person - their round is effectively over because they dared to message both devs? Sorry but that's just an insane way to deal with this situation.

Iceman it's not funny when devs time is wasted, hence there will be a support system built in.

Keeper agreed we could restore the troops lost, but removing the retal so as not to create an unfair advantage since the attacker that killed the troops isn't getting their troops restored. Those lost troops should be loaded back in to the player's account by now.

Lord Thane Why do the troops get restored but not the land and castles taken? And what about the 2 retals that were taken as a result of the attack by Munch? Why wouldn't those troops be restored? Those retals were enabled by the attack from Munch. And you remove the retal from Munch to be fair? Like what happened to Brocket was fair?

You guys play the game with us. So you know just as well as anyone that you didn’t fix anything. Giving him troops back without the land and castles is just silly. You gave him -6k gh space.

skigglez it's doubtful everyone could be made happy with any outcome in these type of situations, I think this is a good middle ground.

Lord Thane What do you mean everyone? There was one victim here - and you gave them back a fraction of what was lost. 3 other kingdoms benefited from this mistake - and the one actual victim is the one who gets punished. The original attack shouldn't have been possible, and both retals taken wouldn't have been possible without the original attack happening. So why treat them as separate incidents - it all stems from that first hit from Munch that never should have been possible. Why would you need to find middle ground in this situation? Just restore what that kingdom lost as a result of the mistake - if you can restore the troops why can't you give back the castles and buildings? It truly makes no sense.

Sweglord Just sweep it under the rug and eventually people will forget. I just can’t grasp why you would restore the military lost but not the land/buildings. Even after the military restoration that kingdom is down 100k KS, all for the crime of notifying both devs about a bug in the vacation mode system. Baffling the way they handled it.
