I don't see a bottomfeeding problem. I see a keeping some troops home solution.

I don’t feel like the game should be catered to your style, uphitting or hitting just at your KS. If it was meant that way, hitting below 20% would be illegal. Some people like to uphit some people like to hit kd’s they know to be empty because they full send every hit. In the famous words of a whiner, “make a strategy game based on decisions and repecutions(sic)”
What you don't get is that once you get hit when you're empty, the other kd gains a bunch of KS and you lose a bunch of KS. Evaluating after the hit and saying "oh he was double" is bullshit, and you know it.
After losing half your KD, you're 11k and after gaining a free castle, Leo is 23k. Therefore, before this has happened, the difference was not 50%.

Lord Thane I knew you'd get a laugh out of my cantankerous analogy. Much respect . It's one of my more clever ways of saying the 50% rule works until it doesn't. And that's around the 20-25k KS range "in my humble opinion". At which point, I do believe that a reduced percentage would not only reduce the distance of bottomfeeding but allows for a little more bloodshed with comparable armies.

Jets the real problem is getting everyone to agree to a fix, because half the ppl say "this is how thardferr is", and the other half want more casual play.
Idk how we can make it so everyone is happy. I would want something simple, like a sliding nerf/buff scale. If you hit -1% below your ks, you get -1% attack damages, if you hit +1% your ks then you get a buff +1% attack damages. We could make it affect casualties too, idk.
Idk if we should be encouraging "hitting up" tho either. The castle defense rule kind of already makes that easier, idk how much weaker we should be nerfing players up top.
It's like being in first place on Mario Kart. The only bonuses you get are useless coins

Lord Thane @TheKeeper I personally only agree with nerfing below, if someone can hit up without advantage and win, they still have the nerf if they retal back down. I feel like that's the fair balance. I am mostly concerned when we run a 6 month round and we are well into our 100k's. It's not longer a day or two bounce back of 20-30 land but weeks of 200-300 land.
Maybe we should run a poll on this and see what people think, I'll post it.

What aboot half of all deaths are converted to injured and injured troops heal at double your train rate for the unit? Makes it impossible to be zeroed out. Attacking and defending isn’t as costly.
Keep med centers double their efficiency so you only need 1:1 for 20%. Med centers are insta healed.
So now when defending if someone bfs you and your entire army is home you have 80% exposed to battle. All of it dies. 20% revived by hopefully more viable MCs. 25% injured. So you still have potentially 65% of your army even though assassinator hit you.
As the attacker this is reduced when attacking below 90% of your KS.
trupheus I like the idea of buffing MCs.
