That is what supposed to be in the game, mate. You should lost more than what you gain. Let's just say CLI is there, You were getting assbeat. You think you can get back to the attacker alone? Knowing that after the attack he is under the protection of CLI and enjoying what he gain from you? This is for CLI A.
How about CLI B, you think you can take your retal when the attacker already gated his full troops back at home? While you are in prot, he is growing from his gain.
CLI B is worst. Imagine he is under CLI until the end of your retal. How sad that can be? Even with all that buffed don't even think you can get your retal back when you just recovered a few while the attacker is growing. Rebuilding and Growing is pretty much different.
