Growing and managing a kingdom has its ups and downs, but the downs far outweigh the ups, especially in war. With CLI and the Castle Loss Rule, attacking has become the most challenging aspect of large-scale warfare. Winning land feels almost as detrimental as losing a defense with a full army. This keeps the pre/re part of the game in place, making attacking a highly punishing experience. However, if you manage to get a castle with full CLI, it becomes the most advantageous situation, making attacking feel effortless. Thereβs no way that a 75% dude can catch up unless he retaliates the same tick he was hit. Despite this, people still resort to βfull sending,β so you occasionally get lucky. Until more people acquire castles, itβs safer to opt for the slow and steady approach. Alliances and naps are just an easy way to manage it. Iβve said it a few times now. Player driven politics make this game better.
